Ninth State Dance Studio

For years Ninth State Dance Studio has provided quality professional dance instruction that offers each dancer a solid technical foundation coupled with the development of individual expression in a supportive and friendly environment. Our classes focus on providing students with a sound dance education that enables both the recreational and pre-professional dancer to pursue their own individual goals.

Placement

It is imperative to understand that unlike academic placement, dance students generally stay in the same class for 2 years and sometimes 3 years as the levels increase. Placement is based on a number of variables: previous study, age, maturity, and strength & technique; however, all placement is at the discretion of the instructors. It is important to impress upon students that “moving up” is not indicative of “being better”, but rather proper placement is to insure the most positive, obtainable, safe, and beneficial learning environment for the individual.
